Getting here

Every route leads to Hall 5

By car

Set your sat-nav to B40 1NT via the M42, M40 or M6. Once you arrive on campus, stop following your sat-nav and look for SOLEX show signage instead - then take the free shuttle bus or one of the signposted footpaths.

By train

Direct services run to the NEC all day. Travelling from farther afield? Change at Birmingham New Street, under 15 minutes away by connecting train. For times, check National Rail or call 08457 484950.

Taxi

The NEC's partner is TOA Taxis, available 24/7 - book by phone on 0121 427 8888 or 0800 0142 729, online, via their app, or pick one up at the ranks outside the main entrances. TOA accept major cards, subject to a 10%+VAT charge.

Other taxis & private hire

Using another taxi or private-hire provider? Drop-off and pickup is at the Piazza or the Atrium entrance, a short walk from the main doors - see the NEC site plan for exact locations. Disabled visitors should check the NEC's dedicated accessibility page before travelling.

Bus and coach

From Birmingham Airport, the free Air-Rail Link takes just 90 seconds and runs every two minutes. National Express (nationalexpress.com) and Megabus (uk.megabus.com) both serve the NEC directly - Network West Midlands can help plan a local bus journey.

By air

Birmingham Airport sits right on the NEC campus, which is why SOLEX attracts thousands of international visitors every year.
